Building with all Intentions

The beauty of growth lies in the moments of realization that shift our perspective. Looking back, if I'd scrutinized the 'why' behind my achievements.

A true test of growth is examining the intentions driving your projects.

We often get lost in the pursuit of popularity and influence, forgetting the core reasons that fuel our passions. Many fall short because their motivation wades when faced with challenges. It's easy to get caught up in the noise and lose sight of what truly matters.

Recently, I spoke with a solid builder who reminded me that true builders construct with intention. They don't just build structures; they build legacies. Take a moment to revisit your vision board and restructure your approach.

What are the core reasons behind your goals?

What drives you?

What fuels your passion?

Reignite your drive and pursue your goals with renewed purpose. Go back to the drawing board of your visions and begin to restructure. Identify the areas where you've lost sight of your intentions and refocus. Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you.

You have more drive to pursue; don't let it fade. Don't let the noise of others drown out your inner voice. Listen to your heart, and let it guide you towards your true purpose. The journey may be tough, but the reward is worth it.

Things I Never Let Myself Do but almost did: Give Up, and Talk Down on Myself

I always joke that I'm enthused about life. Sincerely enthused. But if I'm honest, life doesn't stay in one mood. It moves in phases. And I've come to notice that every phase has a shape. There's the phase where everything looks rosy. The phase where you're working so hard and still not seeing results. The phase where your friends are close and life feels full. The phase where money is stable, and the phase right after it, where somehow even "enough" doesn't feel like enough anymore. There's the phase where you wake up to the realization that there's more out there for you. And then there's the phase where life just becomes work  plain, relentless work. This post is about one of those phases. The one where I almost did the two things I've always told myself never to do: give up, and put myself down. I had just moved to a new city. If you have followed my story before, you already know moving is never simple for me. Not because it...

Beyond the Mantra: Building Capacity for Real Growth

New year, capacity for more - a popular mantra, but let's get real . Overextending yourself can take a toll, "maybe not literally, but gradually tho". I've been there, taking on too much, and slowly, my output started suffering because, after all, I am just me . It got me thinking: how do I achieve all I have the grace to do without burning out? My Father's wise words stuck with me: "Pay attention to the strengths of the people around you." He wasn't saying it's easy, but it's necessary. We often focus on fixing weaknesses rather than amplifying strengths. But when you spotlight others' strengths, you create a powerhouse around you . Sadly, not many have a support system, but you can build one. Everyday, there are people looking to express their capacity - be the platform they can express through. Create space for others to thrive, and watch your own capacity expand. Growth isn't sudden; it requires solid building. Ask yourself: - Who...

It is really not about you...

It is really not about you. Plain truth.  To have something build beyond you, you have to think of more. Many of us are drown in the thought of personal establishment , forgetting that for something to trans-generate , to produce fruit, you have to think of the branches. I often think of a tree. A tree doesn't live for itself. It has a mind, a purpose - its branches need it to blossom. The tree's fulfillment is in nourishing its limbs, in seeing them grow and produce fruit. And you know what? A tree is most protected from external forces when it's carrying out its functions. When it's rooted, grounded, and giving life to its branches. A branch can't produce fruit if it's not getting nourishment from the tree's source. It's the same with us. We grow exponentially when we think of more. We blossom because we're enough for others, because we're fulfilling a purpose , contributing to systems that need us. The truth is, it's really not about you...
